If you need help to get started or if you are not sure what to take as a New Year resolution, a few things can be helpful.
Find a partner: sometimes people can benefit from doing activities together. Many people find easier to lose weight or quit smoking along with a friend.
Start over: OK, you have broken your resolution but it doesn’t mean you have to quit. Restarting can put you back on the right track and may be a valuable lesson in accomplishing your goal.
Having more than one resolution: nothing wrong with that. You can “save money” to “take a trip”, you can “eat healthy” to “lose weight”, or you can “get a better education” to “get a better job”. You may find it helpful to plan your resolutions’ in short term and long term.
