Supplementation with L-Carnitine may help kids with autism according to the findings of a new study.
The 6-month study published in the Journal of Autism Spectrum Disorders shows that regular intake of L-Carnitine improved behavioral symptoms of autistic children.
The study used the yardstick called CARS, childhood autism rating scale, a 15-item scale generally used to measure communication both verbal and nonverbal, object use, fear and nervousness and interpersonal relations in autistic children.
