Another Day, Another Dr. Oz Diet

Filed Under: Diet & Weight Loss at 5:00 pm | By: Mauricio Matusiak, Senior Editor

Dr. Oz has recently unveiled a “new diet” to his viewers. Some people think all weight loss diets presented by Dr.Oz are “scams” and none of them really work. On the other hand, some other people swear his diets are the only way to lose weight. So, what is the final verdict? The best answer might be: it depends on the diet and the person.

Some of Dr.Oz’s diets may help people to drop off a few pounds but remember: diet is just one element of a good weight loss program. Exercise, sleep and motivation play a role as equally important as what you are eating during your diet.

Back to Dr.Oz, the latest diet is a combination of three natural ingredients: apple pectin, grape seed extract, and forskolin. This “new diet” comes out a few months after Dr.Oz presented a revolutionarily fat buster combination of Konjac root fiber, raspberry ketone, white kidney bean extract, and L-Carnitine.

Apple pectin may be most important element in this diet as it can promote desired intestinal health without the use of chemicals, in other words, it promotes a healthy body detox. Supplementation of apple pectin can regulate the digestive system and improve bowel movement, both important factors for any weight loss program.

Forskolin is actually making its second run in Dr Oz’s program. Part of the Flat Belly Diet, forskolin is believed to help to mobilize fat right outside of the cell. Since fat cells have fat within them, when you take Forskolin on a regular basis, the fat gets mobilized and blows the fat particles out of the cells, consequently resulting in weight loss.

Lastly, grape seed extract supplements can be used to support many health conditions such as lessen the risk for cardiovascular disease, as well as to treat high blood pressure and high cholesterol. As always, speak with your doctor or health care professional before you start taking any supplement.

Yep…the key ingredient Coleus Forskohlii extract really boosted my fat loss…i was using the mulberry zuccarrin…but notice more fat loss with the forskohlii when added to my eating habits….also a good Thistle Cleanse/liver cleanse will always help…i eat lots of apples for the great Quercetan in them which helps to heal lungs…know ur foods and what they can do for u! I just planted a mulberry tree last summer and the deer love the leaves…go figure.

Konjac root fiber is good…I used it with my Diabetic dogs meals back 12 yrs. ago when it wasn’t popular….it prevented her from spiking in glucose after eating by ataching to her food and allowing her to digest her food over a longer period of time….as to fat burning properties…not sure…since i didn’t take it….but i appreciated what it did for my diabetic dog.
