Summer is the fitness season. Many people try to get in shape during the warm months of July and August because it’s definitely the easiest time of the year to get outdoors and burn some calories.
If you are located in a coastal area, a beach workout can be a great fat-burning experience, normally helped by a refreshing ocean breeze. If you are in the mountains, cool early mornings are perfect for any type of workout.
If you are going to stay indoors, make sure to exercise in temperature controlled rooms and that the place has enough air circulation. One advice applies for all locations: drink plenty of water, before, during and after your workout.
A good workout program revolves around exercise and proper nutrition. Protein and carbohydrates are essential for a successful workout but many people face a dilemma: how can one eat well to have enough energy for an intense exercise program and lose weight at the same time?
It’s definitely a difficult task. You need to eat well in order to obtain enough carbs/energy from food but, at the same time, manage to burn off calories. Checking calories amounts on nutrition facts charts isn’t the only way to reduce the calorie intake. The size of meals is very important for your diet. Try eating smaller meals, ideally three small meals a day and three snacks throughout the day (in between meals). Eating more frequently minimizes hunger, the main reason people generally overeat at main meals.
Additionally, weight loss supplements can help. Appetite suppressants, carb blockers, fat burners, meal replacements, cortisol regulators and protein shakes can be the difference between successful and frustrated results on your workout program.
