This problem is happening everywhere; restaurants, public parks, offices, shopping centers and pretty much anywhere you can find trash containers.
Glass bottles, aluminum cans, cardboard and tons of plastic bottles are thrown in regular garbage cans every day. Perhaps it’s time to really start educating people about recycling and if that doesn’t work, make new laws. We have plenty of silly laws but we don’t’ have enough laws to protect our planet.
You can do your part at home and at work, separating and recycling everything possible. Paper, cardboard, plastic, glass and aluminum should never go with your regular garbage. If you don’t have a recyclable place near your house, try to find a public place and weekly dispose your recyclable garbage. Use different trash cans and bags for the stuff you can recycle.
Remember, recycle is not just what you do with trash, it’s also everything you can reuse and avoid throwing out, minimizing waste. Try to reuse plastic bottles as well as containers. Grocery reusable bags are a great way to minimize plastic waste, reducing the number of millions of grocery plastic bags given at grocery stores every day. Do you part. The planet Earth says “thank you”.
