I didn't think anyone understood my pain. They tried to convince me that some of it was in my head. Huh, what do they know! I'm the one in this body. But I can vouch for this. I suffer from fibromyalgia, but thought it was just pain from working too hard and sitting at work too much. After being sent for rehab. for 16 weeks, I could not believe the difference. I no longer had lower back pain and I could lift my arms above my head with little to no pain. I started out walking about ten minutes a day and ended the program going four miles. I would work until I could feel the pain. Hurts so good! I did streatches and weights, too. I started with one pound weights and ended with five. But this must be continued. If I stop for too long I can feel the pain and stiffness coming back. My advice? Push yourself. Talk to yourself and tell your body not to sit down, walk. Don't lay down, walk. If you are sitting and watching TV then lift soup cans, do streatches. Good Luck!
