Happy Fourth of July!

Independence DayTomorrow is the day to celebrate America. The Independence Day tradition continues every year honoring our country, our flag and our culture.

It’s always a great opportunity to have family and friends gathering, with plenty of food and drinks all day long.

Yes, you may enjoy the holiday and even take a day off from your diet (give yourself a treat if you’ve been good, why not?).

Hotdogs, burgers, chips, salsa and all sorts of “party foods” make a delicious menu for an enjoyable day. We normally face the same problem every holiday: the next day sickness.

Indigestion, bloating, headaches are some examples of complications caused by “over enjoying” your national holiday.

Then, you have to work the next day, luckily the 4th of July is on a Friday this year, but some of us have to work anyways. Even if you do not have to work, you still don’t want to waste your Saturday recovering from the day before.

So, what can you do to have a nice 5th of July?

Well, first, try eating and drinking with moderation. Second, it also helps if you have the choice of buying natural products, such as hamburgers and chips. Finally, try pacing yourself throughout the day, as you have the whole day to eat, not just 30 minutes of lunch break.

Let’s say you didn’t really do any of the precautionary steps. It’s still not too late.

Digestive enzymes can be very useful in case of bloating or indigestion. Most of the products offer an herbal blend capable of rapidly improving your digestive system, In other words, you stomach can feel a lot better and you will be able to eat well the next day.

The idea of using natural digestive enzymes is excellent, especially for us older folks…late 50s -60’s when our natural supply begins to greatly diminish. It is a great way to improve absorbtion of vitamins and minerals from the food we eat in addition to helping with digestive problems.

    Great Advice!
