Spirulina is known as one of the most nutritious, concentrated whole foods around. It’s 60% protein and an excellent source of numerous vitamins, including vitamins A, K1, K2 and B12, as well as iron, manganese, and chromium.

This St. Patty’s Day go green the healthy way by passing up those calorie- and chemical-laden stouts and fast food shakes in favor of this delicious spirulina smoothie.

Shamrock Spirulina Smoothie

2 cups coconut milk

1 tsp. spirulina

1 scoop vanilla planted-based protein powder

1 banana

1 tbsp. of hemp seeds

2 handfuls of greens

½ cup of frozen pineapple

4 mint leaves
