Alternative Ways to Boost the Immune System

Emergen-CBoosting the immune system has been one of the hottest topics these days.

The Swine Flu has sparked a flurry of articles on how to enhance the immune system to prevent the new flu. However, awareness is not the main problem as most people know what to do in order to fortify their immune system.

The real issue is the inability of most people to implement the necessary changes to their lifestyle.

Vitamin C is one of the best ways to enhance the immune system, but most people do not eat foods high in vitamin C on a daily basis. In addition, some people buy vitamin C supplements but often forget to take the tablets, minimizing the benefits.

So, what can we do to increase the vitamin C intake?

Drink a glass of orange juice for breakfast. That’s a good start. If you struggle with tablets and always forget to take them, let’s try an alternative way.

Vitamin C chewables can be the solution for your problem. Leave a bottle on your work-desk or somewhere visible in the living room, by the TV remote control for example. You may chew C tablets at anytime of the day.

Moreover, vitamin C effervescent products may be a convenient way to get your daily dose of vitamin C. Most products come in single packets, which provide the daily recommended 1000mg of vitamin C.  Just add the powder in water and enjoy a delicious drink.

If you don’t really like citrus flavor, don’t worry, plenty of flavors are available for this drink, all providing 1000 mg of vitamin C.

Very true Vitamin C is the ultimate classic. I’ve recently tried other vitamins and natural supplements as well and they work great too.
