B25Time and time again we talk about the health benefits of coconut oil but some people still find it difficult to add this incredible product to their diet. We come up with a few suggestion and present you 5 ways to use coconut oil for cooking.

1. Cooking

Replacing other cooking oils such as canola oil or any other vegetable oil with virgin organic coconut oil is a great way to start. Coconut oil is perfect for cooking at high heat, particularly since some oils are unsafe for cooking at high temperatures.

2. Baking

Coconut oil is a great replacement for butter and vegetable oils since it can tolerate high temperatures. An excellent dairy-free option, baking with coconut oil also adds an additional flavor to muffins, scones, cookies, brownies and pies.

3. Salad Dressings

Coconut oil is a perfect fit for a delicious salad dressing. This addition is ideal for anyone trying to increase energy levels and lose weight as coconut oil is known to enhance the metabolism and help weight-loss.

4. Frying

Frying can be healthier if you use coconut oil instead of conventional oil. It works really well to fry eggs as well as potatoes, sweet potatoes, and chicken. The additional health benefits combined with the delicious hint of coconut makes this a perfect choice.

5. Popcorn

This fun part of cooking can also be made with coconut oil. A spoonful of extra virgin organic coconut oil works just perfectly for making popcorn but you can also use it as a topping, drizzling melted coconut oil over popcorn for a sweet taste.
