DIY Bath Recipes to Soothe Dry Skin

bathWinter and cold temperatures can wreak havoc on your skin. So while you may be busy with holiday parties, shopping and baking, take some time to soothe your dry and flaky skin with these DIY bath recipes. Epsom salt will soothe and relax sore muscles, baking soda detoxifies the body and seal salt exfoliates the skin. Let the aroma from your favorite essential oil melt your stress away.

Detox Bath Soap

2 C Magnesium Flakes

½ C epsom Salt

½ C Dead Sea Salt

¼ C Baking Soda

 Soothing Milk Bath

1 ½ cups powdered milk

2 Tbsp coconut oil

½ cup epsom salts

½ cup baking soda

10 drops of an essential oil of your choice

Relaxing Lavender Oatmeal Bath

3 cups plain old fashioned oats 
1/2 cup baking soda

12 drops Lavender essential oil

    Oats will clog the drain. Best to pulse them in a blender to make a flour, and use that.
