Don’t Like Flossing? Try Interdental Brushing

Dental flossing has multiple health benefits. Regular flossing can decrease risk of gum disease (such as gingivitis), remove plaque in between teeth, polish tooth surfaces and improve breath.

It’s very simple to use interdental toothbrushes. Use a straight brush for front teeth at gum level. Insert the brush gently between your teeth. Move the brush full length back and forth a few times to remove plaque and debris. Between the back teeth, where the cheek sometimes makes it difficult to reach, access may be improved if you slightly curve the soft neck by adding pressure with your finger.

Make sure to always rinse brush in clean water during and after use, just like any regular toothbrush.
