A Warm Mug Of Golden Milk

Maybe I’m a little out of the loop, but until recently, I didn’t know much about the benefits of turmeric. Once I started researching this spice, I found that I’ve been missing quite a lot! Turmeric is a natural anti-inflammatory, powerful antioxidant, and helps to boost the immune system, just to name a few. For me, it wasn’t a question of should I incorporate turmeric into my diet, but how. So after doing a little more searching, I came upon a recipe that will not only keep me warm during this chilly autumn season, but will provide me the benefits of turmeric at the same time. Golden Milk, as it’s called, is a great nighttime addition to anyone’s routine.

Golden Milk Recipe

Combine turmeric paste, milk, and coconut oil in a small saucepan and heat on medium high, stirring constantly to prevent the mixture from coming to a boil. Once heated, transfer to a mug and add the honey and cinnamon if using.
